Lithia Springs Farm is a small family farm that is located on 22 acres in Lithia, Florida. Our family has lived on Lithia Springs for nearly three decades. In 2021 we were able to finally leave the suburban life and start rebuilding the land to what we hoped to be a sustainable and slower paced future for our family. Our kids (Reagan and Lincoln) homeschool and are actively involved with maintaining the land and animals. Our property has four spring fed ponds which we utilize for fishing and watering our animals and land. We currently have turkeys, ducks, chickens, bunnies, goats, pigs, cows, dogs and cats calling our property home. In 2023, after visiting a local small urban farm with our kids we loved the idea of giving families an opportunity to experience our small farm and hopefully get more in touch with food and animal production. When not spending time with our animals, Brittany runs a successful tax practice and Russell owns a local live music bar and site development company.
Rosie is a Kune Kune pig and is one of our favorite animals on the farm. She is extremely sweet and loves her pool. She had her first litter of adorable piglets in April 2024 and many of them are still here on the farm.
We have a variety of chickens, ducks and turkeys on the farm. They are all over the farm, you won't be able to miss them!
Tiny is our resident weather (neutered boy goat). He was raised as a bottle baby by Reagan due to some issues with his mom and definitely thinks he should be in the house not out with the girls. You will hear him hollering when you visit to get let out (probably because it works and he gets let out to play with his pal Whiskey a lot).
We have four mama Nigerian Dwarf goats who love attention and special treatment as you can see. We breed the goats annually on a rotating schedule so we have babies most of the time. We have three boy goats not pictured here that call our pastures home and love visits with the ladies.
We have a 30 year old African spurred tortoise named Charlie. He is the newest addition to our farm.
