Farmer Friday's

FARMER FRIDAY'S

Our Farmer Friday classes are open to ages 3-13. These are one day classes on select Friday’s from 9:30am – 12pm. The visit will include feeding tour with all the animals, an activity, and visiting any new animals on the farm. This is a little longer then our typical class and we encourage you to bring a packed lunch to enjoy on the farm!

The cost is $45 per child per class.

Please note these are ONE TIME classes, you can sign up for all or just one of them but you are signing up for a one time class.

Farmer Friday Class Topics

No, this is not a drop off class, although you are welcome to bring more than one child/carpool. Parents are encouraged to participate.

Absolutely, but each child must register separately. One infant 12 months and younger can attend with parent and paying sibling without registering.

This is a working farm, expect to interact with lots of animals and to get a little dirty. We recommend closed toe shoes and wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Yes, we have a toddler class for ages 2-5, a homeschool class for ages 6-12, and a future farmer class (held after traditional school hours) for ages 6-12.

Yes! We offer private farm tours, field trips, and birthday parties.

If you have signed your child up for a class and you can no longer attend, we require notice two weeks before the first class begins. At that time we will issue you a credit to use for a class in the future.

We are happy to provide you the receipts necessary for submitting for a reimbursement for the PEP scholarship; however, we cannot guarantee the class will be reimbursed (we all know how difficult the process can be). At this time we are not a direct provider meaning you will have to register and pay for the class and then submit for reimbursement.

Each class we will focus on a different animal or topic. We will spend about 20 minutes in a sit down discussion learning about that topic or animal (sometimes a little less for the younger classes if they are more interested in moving around) and will then do a small craft or related activity. After we will visit the animals and then give the kids free time to explore one on one with the animals and surrounding property.
