Field Trips at Lithia Springs Farm
Come experience life on the farm! Our field trips offer a fun, educational, and hands-on adventure for kids of all ages. Students will meet and feed our friendly farm animals, explore the rhythms of homesteading life, and take part in an interactive mini-lesson designed to spark curiosity about sustainable living and animal care.
Each visit includes:
Guided animal encounters – Meet, feed, and interact with our goats, chickens, cows, and more
A hands-on activity – A fun, age-appropriate project related to farm life or homesteading
Time to explore and play – Plenty of space and time for kids to run, laugh, and connect with nature
Our field trips are designed to educate, inspire, and create lasting memories—rain boots encouraged!
Our field trips include a mini lesson on our farm animals, a special activity and a fully guided farm tour to meet and play with all of our animals. Please wear closed toe shoes and expect to get a little dirty! If you are interested in packing lunch to eat at the farm during your field trip, just let us know at the time of booking. We allow one adult chaperone per family at no additional cost. Any additional chaperones would be $25 per chaperone.
If a chaperone is bringing a sibling (2 years old and up), they are more than welcome to join the field trip but they will charged our normal $25 rate. Please let us know final count of all children attending including siblings. For children 2 and under, there is no charge.
This is a working farm, expect to interact with lots of animals and to get a little dirty. We recommend closed toe shoes and wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Yes! We offer private tours, birthday parties, farm classes and private photography sessions.
