Homeschooler Class Topics

No, this is not a drop off class, although you are welcome to bring more than one child/carpool. Parents are encouraged to participate.

Absolutely, but each child must register/pay separately. One infant 12 months and younger can attend with parent and paying sibling without registering/paying. It is completely fine to have a younger or older sibling join the same class.

This is a working farm, expect to interact with lots of animals and to get a little dirty. We highly recommend closed toe shoes, rubber boots are ideal, and wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Yes, we have a toddler class for ages 2-5, a homeschool class for ages 6-12, and a future farmer class (held after traditional school hours) for ages 6-12.

Yes, we offer private farm tours, field trips, and birthday parties.

If you have signed your child up for a class and you can no longer attend, we require notice two weeks before the first class begins. At that time we will issue you a credit to use for a class in the future.

Yes! We are direct pay approved for our Toddler and Homeschooler class sessions and Farmer Friday classes. We are direct pay approved with SUFS/PEP if you are using these funds you must register and then separately allocate the funds via SUFS. We highly recommend allocating the funds via SUFS versus paying directly and then submitting a reimbursement.

Each class we will focus on a different animal or topic. We will spend about 20 minutes in a sit down discussion learning about that topic or animal (sometimes a little less for the younger classes if they are more interested in moving around) and will then do a small craft or related activity. After we will visit the animals and then give the kids free time to explore one on one with the animals and surrounding property.

We hold farm classes rain or shine. If there is extreme weather (hurricane or lightning) we may cancel class and add a make up date.

If you sign up for a session and cannot make all four classes unfortunately we are typically sold out for sessions so we won't typically be able to offer drop in make up dates on future sessions.
