Our fall homeschooler classes, which are geared to ages 6-12, will be offered in two sessions both on Wednesdays from 9:30AM-11:30AM. Session One starts October 9th for five weeks (October 9, 16, 23, 30, and November 6). Session Two starts November 13th for five weeks (November 13, 20, 27, December 4, 11).
No, this is not a drop off class, although you are welcome to bring more than one child/carpool. Parents are encouraged to participate.
Absolutely, but each child must register separately. One infant 18 months and younger can attend with parent and paying sibling without registering.
This is a working farm, expect to interact with lots of animals and to get a little dirty. We recommend closed toe shoes and wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Yes, we have a toddler class for ages 2-5, a homeschool class for ages 6-12, and a future farmer class (held after traditional school hours) for ages 6-12.
Yes, we offer private farm tours, field trips, and birthday parties.
If you have signed your child up for a class and you can no longer attend, we require notice two weeks before the first class begins. At that time we will issue you a credit to use for a class in the future.
We are happy to provide you the receipts necessary for submitting for a reimbursement for the PEP scholarship; however, we cannot guarantee the class will be reimbursed (we all know how difficult the process can be). At this time we are not a direct provider meaning you will have to register and pay for the class and then submit for reimbursement.
Each class we will focus on a different animal or topic. We will spend about 20 minutes in a sit down discussion learning about that topic or animal (sometimes a little less for the younger classes if they are more interested in moving around) and will then do a small craft or related activity. After we will visit the animals and then give the kids free time to explore one on one with the animals and surrounding property.
